The False Church Rejects The Experiencing Of The LORD:
The False Church Is Of The WORLD!
A characteristic of the false church
The first characteristic of the false church is they preach a false gospel. Paul the apostle said “If any man preach any other gospel unto you then that ye have received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:9). This false gospel includes the following three elements:
1.Heaven promised by a sinner’s prayer. No where in the book of Acts do we see the apostles lead a person in a sinner’s prayer, nor do we find any command by the LORD or the apostle’s writing’s to do so. False,False,False!
2.Heaven promised while one continues in sin. The true gospel includes the power of God’s grace to overcome sin, not to continue to be overcome by sin." And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). If Jesus has not saved you from the power of sin then He is not your savior! "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous" (Romans 5:19). "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 5:21)., All who have been saved by the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ will walk in righteousness and not in sin. "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin" (Romans 6:6). The true gospel promises the destruction of the body of sin, and the freedom from the service to sin. "And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin" (1 John 3:6)." Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him" (3:9). "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God" (1John 3:5,6,9). Christ did not come just to forgive us of our sins, but to take away our sins, and the promise to all who abide in Him are kept from the power of sin. How can this be one may ask, rest assure, that this is made possible only by the seed of God that is deposited to every true child of God.
3. This false gospel also contains the promise of once saved always saved, lie. The false church teaches that once you're saved, you can never fall away from the faith or never lose your salvation. This contradicts the true gospel that calls for all who would enter through the narrow gate to continue unto the end. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"( Romans 6:23). Beloved, the wages of sin is still death! "If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;"( Colossians 1:23). Read this definition for the little word if: introducing a conditional clause, on the condition or supposition that; in the event that. So, in the previous verse and the following verses we are only promised salvation if we continue in faith. Anyone who fails to continue in their faith forfeits their salvation. If it were not possible for one to be moved away from the gospel, Paul then would've never made mention that it were so. "But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end"(Hebrews 3:6). "For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;" (Hebrews 3:14). "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved" (Matthew 10:22). Did you read the word’s of the King of heaven. The true church is called to endure to the end in order to be saved. Be not mistaken, the way a true christian continues steadfast in the gospel unto the end is by the Holy Spirit and not by one’s own efforts. Are you continuing in your faith by the power of the Holy Spirit or have you fallen from grace? "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace "(Galatians 5:4). "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;" (Hebrews 12:15). Beloved, the apostle Paul makes it clear that one can fall and fail in the grace of God. Are you looking diligently to the Spirit of grace to keep you in the arms of the savior?
